Option Sets Guide
Option Sets in NexQR allow merchants to pre-define product variants before creating actual products. This feature streamlines product creation, saves time, and makes data input easier.
What are Option Sets?
Option Sets are collections of product options (such as size, color, or customization choices) that can be reused across multiple products. By defining these sets in advance, merchants avoid repetitive manual entry for each product.
Example Scenario
Suppose you run a bubble tea shop. Instead of manually adding each cup size, sugar level, or topping for every product, you can create Option Sets like:
- Cup Size: Small, Medium, Large
- Sugar Level: 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%
- Toppings: Pearls, Jelly, Pudding
When creating a new product, simply select the relevant Option Sets. This lets you focus on pricing and other product details, while the variants are already set up.
Option Sets Listing Screen
The Option Sets screen displays all your defined sets. Here you can:
- View: See all existing Option Sets.
- Create: Add new Option Sets for future use.
- Edit: Update existing sets as your business evolves.
- Delete: Remove sets you no longer need.
Each Option Set lists its options, making it easy to manage and apply them to products.
Benefits
- Efficiency: Define variants once, use them everywhere.
- Consistency: Standardize options across products.
- Flexibility: Easily update options as your offerings change.
Option Sets help you manage product variants efficiently, ensuring a smooth workflow and consistent customer experience.
